I’m a Senior DevOps and Platform Engineer. I’ve spent the last 5+ years building cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure at SailPoint, Thomson Reuters, and Honeywell. Most of my time goes to solving the same problem over and over: teams that are stuck waiting on ops to do things that could be self-serve.
I build platforms so your developers can ship without asking for permission. That means setting up infrastructure teams can actually use, securing Kubernetes clusters so they work across regions, and writing the automation that turns “that takes two days” into “hit this button.”
What that actually looks like#
Self-Service Platforms
Built platforms that 50+ engineers use without needing to touch ops tickets. These use AWS Step Functions and Terraform templates that teams can configure themselves while still maintaining some guardrails. The payoff is obvious: way fewer bottlenecks, teams move faster.
Kubernetes at Scale
I’ve designed security setups across 22+ clusters in 12+ regions. OIDC, RBAC, Kyverno policies all baked in from the start, not bolted on later. Also threw Karpenter and KEDA at the workload scaling problem. The end result was 10% cost savings without throwing away reliability.
Data Platforms
Optimized Apache Airflow and Flink on Kubernetes for large-scale data work across multiple regions. Built monitoring with Grafana and Prometheus that actually catches problems before your users see them.
Security and Compliance
Built a real security program for enterprise infrastructure. Automated image scanning with Snyk and BlackDuck, vulnerability patching, network security that doesn’t feel like security theater. The infrastructure-as-code part cut down manual work by about 20%.
How I actually work#
I don’t need constant check-ins. I scope what’s broken, plan the fix, and ship it without creating dependencies on me hanging around.
I measure what matters. Cost reduction, how fast you’re responding to incidents, whether your team’s actually moving faster. You’ll know if this actually worked.
I document things so the next person (or next team) can own what we built. That’s not extra, that’s part of the job.
I optimize for what your business needs, not what’s technically flashy. Those aren’t always the same thing.
